3 NORTH LEXINGTON

5475 Main Street Lexington, MI 48450 (810) 696-2034
3 North Lexington

What was old became new. Now even newer! This beautiful red brick building was first constructed in 1876. Way back when, it was home to the Village of Lexington Fire Dept. and an opera house. Odd combination?

Since 1986, it’s been home to different retail shops. Including Lexington Brewing Co. & Wine House. They unfortunately closed up shop in 2020, leaving the door open for 3 North Lexington to move in. NEW name, NEW owners, NEW craft beer, wine, and ciders!

This past Saturday I ventured out and up through the farmlands of “The Thumb” to the beach town of Lexington. Somewhere near the thumb’s knuckle.

3 North Lexington offers a large, open atmosphere. Lots of seating at the bar with plenty of tables to host a party of 2 or 10. They also have a retail shop full of gifts for someone else or picking up a bottle or 3 to take home with you.

3 beers were on tap the day I was in. A 4.5% PILS (didn’t try), 5.7% IPA which was tasty and paired well with my Turkey & Cheddar sandwich! My favorite was the 6.5% PORTER. A fitting beer on a breezy & chilly Saturday afternoon.

The food menu includes appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and a kids menu.

Lots of wine and cider to sip if you’re not a craft beer lover. As always… BOOOOOOOOO!

Speaking of wine, just 3 short miles west of Lexington in Croswell is 3 North Vines. Here you can sample their wines where the grapes are grown. Also, a great place to host your next event.

If you stop in in the warmer months and you should, you’re only a few blocks away from Lexington State Harbor and the blue waters of Lake Huron.

Make a Thumb Brew Tour outta your trip by adding Elk Street Brewery & Tap Room, HUCO Brew Co., Thumb Brewery, & War Water Brewery.

I’ve always loved the times spent in and around Lexington. I’m sure you will to!
