Peace, Love, and Beers!

Thumb Brewery has that summer of love, hippie feeling. Under new ownership since June 2020. Great atmosphere & people. Not to mention the yummy brew. Brand new kitchen added last year. Come hungry.

Been a few times over the years. This time a quick detour on the way home from

dudes Tim Doyle weekend in the U.P.

First pour was the KINDE HOP IPA. Nothing more, nothing less… a very good, straight forward IPA.

For my second pint I stepped outta the box. Went for the LAVENDER LADY PALE ALE. Happy I did. All the flava! Refreshing. Great last beer of the holiday weekend.

Tim’s two pours were the WEST COAST IPA, followed by the KONA COFFEE OATMEAL STOUT. He described his stop as an unexpected surprise. Clean, crisp beers and loved talking to both the head-brewer and owners about them! From hostess to owner everyone could not have been more inviting!

We both concur it was a great way to end an epic weekend! Chilling in one of Michigan’s beach towns sipping great brew.

Make a full day trip out of it with a paddle out to Turnip Rock in Port Austin Area Chamber of Commerce. Or hit it up during City of Caseville busiest time of the year, Cheeseburger Fest
