Now that I’ve enjoyed beer at (all but two) breweries in the state, (that’s “432” and counting) I’ve put together my Top 100. This is ever changing with a few staples. “See TOP 10!”
I’m often asked, “what are your favorite breweries?” Two hours later that person is jamming pencils in their ears cause I’m still rambling on.
Don’t get all twisted if you don’t see your favorite on here. This is my list… I’d love to hear yours. I’ve truly enjoyed each and every brewery in MI. Just happen to like some more than others. I mean it’s beer right?!? To me beer is like sex, even when it’s bad it’s GOOD!
I’m not talking MI beer you can go pick up at a store or carry out from the brewery. It’s the complete package or experience I’ve had while there.
What I take into account when I stop…
Most obvious is the beer. I’d say it’s roughly 70%. The other 30% is a combination of atmosphere, food, any activities either at the brewery or locally. Location. And customer service. I love nothing more than picking the brains of owners, brewers, bartenders, or wait-staff.
